THE ORGANISATION
Age UK Lancashire believes that later life should be valued and fulfilling. Through the services and support they provide, they aim to promote independence, enhance health and well-being and enable older people to access the information they need to make informed decisions about their lives.
THE CHALLENGE
Age UK Lancashire got in contact with our team at Qlic as they were interested in moving away from on-site servers and implementing SharePoint Online.
Alongside implementing SharePoint for Age UK Lancashire, our Projects Team decided that device encryption, Datto and Multi-Factor Authentication is something which they should have installed to ensure that their data is secure at all costs.
Our Project Team on the job liaised with the manager at Age UK Lancashire to find the best dates that suited them and finalised a dedicated weekend so that he could migrate them over to SharePoint without disturbing them during business hours.
THE APPROACH
Following our initial survey and audit of the organisations offices and devices, we presented a Best Practice Analysis report to Age UK Lancashire which entailed a full and detailed migration plan to move to SharePoint.
Working collaboratively with key staff from Age UK Lancashire, our Solutions Delivery team built new Communication Sites within Microsoft 365 SharePoint to store the organisation’s shared data, with specific security groups and access-based enumeration to ensure staff could only see the areas they were granted permission to access.
THE RESULTS
Age UK Lancashire couldn’t have been happier with the completed project. Our Projects Team successfully completed the project scope with no fallout whatsoever.Â
