3P Ministries is a UK-based faith-driven organisation dedicated to community outreach, education, and spiritual development. With a growing team and expanding digital needs, they rely on secure, collaborative technology to support their mission and streamline operations across multiple locations.
3P Ministries required a comprehensive digital transformation to consolidate and secure their data and communications. Their existing setup included 12GB of data stored in Tresorit and 13GB in Google Workspace, which needed to be migrated to Microsoft SharePoint. Additionally, email data from six Google Drive accounts had to be transferred, and 16 new Microsoft 365 user accounts created. The organisation also sought to improve its Microsoft Secure Score through a targeted security deployment project. Alongside this, Datto backup installation and Sophos antivirus setup were essential to ensure business continuity and endpoint protection. The challenge was to deliver all components seamlessly, with minimal disruption to daily operations.
Qlic IT began by conducting a thorough audit of 3P Ministries’ existing infrastructure, identifying key data repositories and user requirements. The SharePoint environment was built and configured to align with the organisation’s structure, ensuring intuitive navigation and secure access controls. Data migration from Tresorit and Google Workspace was executed using encrypted transfer protocols, preserving file integrity and metadata.
Email migration from six Google Drive accounts was carefully planned to avoid downtime. Each mailbox was mapped and transferred to Microsoft 365, followed by the creation of 16 new user accounts with appropriate permissions and security policies.
To enhance cybersecurity, Qlic IT implemented Microsoft 365 Secure Score Improvement measures. This included multi-factor authentication, conditional access policies, and threat detection configurations. Datto backup solutions were installed to provide automated, cloud-based data protection, while Sophos antivirus was deployed across all endpoints via a centralised portal, ensuring real-time threat monitoring and remediation.
Throughout the project, Qlic IT maintained close communication with 3P Ministries, providing training and documentation to support user adoption and long-term success.
3P Ministries now benefits from a unified, secure digital workspace that supports collaboration and data integrity. The migration to SharePoint has streamlined document management, while the transition to Microsoft 365 has improved email reliability and user experience. The Secure Score Improvement project significantly enhanced the organisation’s security posture, reducing vulnerabilities and increasing compliance with best practices.
Datto backup installation ensures business continuity, with automated recovery options in place. Sophos antivirus provides robust endpoint protection, safeguarding devices from malware and phishing threats. Staff now operate with greater confidence, knowing their systems are secure and supported by a reliable IT partner.
